Shopping can be considered as one of the most relaxing task in the world. It is an activity in which a customer browses the available goods or services presented by one or more retailers with the intent to purchase a suitable selection of them. It is some sort of stress reliever for many where it can develop your analytical thinking ability in selecting the best products and services offered suited for your taste while having that excitement of carefully choosing the perfect fit for you.

Let’s all thank the genius minds who have brought us the shopping center at our home instead of going to malls. In modern days, consumer focus is transferred towards online shopping. This is the reason why online stores are booming business today. Online shopping stores like Lazada, Zalora, Armani Exchange, E-bay, Amazon and etc. has been delivering any kind of goods for several years now at the doorstep of every online shopper.

Online shopping can save both consumer’s time and fuel by just simply browsing over the internet and selecting items they wanted to purchase. It can also save energy; you don’t need to hop from one store to the other because as a consumer we tend to compare prices. Thus, from the site itself, we can be able to decide what products to choose and which brand is cheaper than the other. Also, consumers can be able to shop 24/7, anytime of the day and during at night, no closing time. Lastly, consumers can avoid waiting in long lines. Your chosen products will be added to your cart and it will be delivered outside your doorsteps after several days.

However, unlike buying at retail stores, you are not able to see the actual product itself and it might cause you inconvenience because the product delivered might be different from what you have expected. Online stores are only showing product description and photos of the merchandise, which can be a disadvantage for many online shoppers. Online shopping requires patience to wait for the item to arrive at your doorstep about 2 to 3 days or even longer depending on the location you’ve ordered it from.

I am also an online shopper! And through online surfing on Instagram, I was able to purchase lipstick, Tee shirts and other fashion apparels which I had no any hesitation in buying. These items are not that expensive and some are not available here in the city. On the other hand, I have second thoughts of buying gadgets, since I want to see the actual features and first hand contact with the product before buying it, beauty products (like whitening cream and soaps) because I need to make sure the product safety, if the product exhibits no side effects and also some shoes online because I’m afraid that it won’t fit. Furthermore, I don’t consider buying foods, medicines and jewelries online because these are highly sensitive items and expensive ones too.
